Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Northlake, Texas is hiring an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate stock levels in a clean, safe warehouse setting. The role features Monday–Friday shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

The position requires at least a high school diploma and warehouse experience; forklift operation and proficiency with Microsoft Office are preferred. Training is provided, and there is opportunity for growth within the supply chain team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• One year or more forklift operation experience preferred.
• One year or more experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
• May require equipment certification depending on location.
• Ability to read location, date and product codes; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to Supervisors and hourly associates on inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
