Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring an Inventory Control Associate in Wilmer, Texas. You will conduct cycle counts, audits, and inventories to ensure accurate stock levels while supporting warehouse operations on a fast-paced site.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, forklift familiarity, and strong communication skills. Weekly pay, paid training, and safety gear are provided in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to read location codes and product codes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as needed.
• Provide floor support to supervisors and hourly staff.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Additional Pay:$2.00 added per hour when assigned to weekend shift
• Schedule:1st shift; Friday - Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices

• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
• Performs other duties as assigned.
