Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Houston, TX to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, ensuring safety and reliability in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventative maintenance programs.
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills.
• Aptitude to investigate and problem-solve various mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete all routine lubrications, repairs and trouble shooting tasks of mechanical warehouse equipment.
• Assist and monitor all work being performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
• Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
• Depending on location, employee may be required to operate equipment and may be required to be equipment certified.
• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Houston, TX — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $24.00 per hour
• Schedule: Training will be Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 6:30 pm
• After training the shift will either be Sunday-Wednesday 6am-4:30pm or Wednesday-Saturday 6am-4:30pm
