Vallen in Middletown Township, PA, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, handle, stock, and dispatch goods in a fast-paced distribution center. You will follow established procedures, maintain accurate records, and support safe, efficient operations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards, with forklift or cherry picker experience preferred. Training and advancement opportunities are available within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of relevant experience and/or training.
• Experience loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods in a warehouse environment; forklift/cherry picker experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency and/or a demonstrated technical aptitude to learn; may include MS-Office, Vista, Control, Prophet 21.

Responsibilities

• Completes shipments by processing and loading orders; reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Unloads, receives and puts away incoming goods and merchandise; checks for damage and discrepancies; may install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting during transit.
• Accurately sorts, labels, moves, and stores goods; places materials on racks or bins; follows work orders or verbal instructions to determine materials to be moved.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within the warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Prepares, picks, packs, and dispatches outgoing goods; uses pick sheets to locate items; verifies product and quantity accuracy.
