Job summary

Niche Polymer is seeking a warehouse associate to perform receiving, picking, packing, and shipping tasks. The role includes safe loading/unloading of trucks, staging materials, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Weekend shift is Fri, Sat, Sun from 7AM to 8PM. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50lbs and have basic writing ability. Forklift experience is a plus and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading/unloading trucks safely.
• Double check load balance for transit.
• Operate dock plates as needed.
• Load bulk tank trucks and stage materials.
• Complete documentation to verify quantities and materials received.
• Update location/movement paperwork (Silo maps, Material Movement Sheets).
• Label and package items for transit; repackage as needed.
• Stage materials to be processed, blended or packaged.
• Audit loads against shipping records for accuracy.
• Check integrity of packages for incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Assist with inventories and locate warehoused materials.
• Maintain general housekeeping.
• Gather and ship samples for potential clients.
• Pull and stage customer orders for shipment.

Perform multiple functions that may include receiving and processing incoming materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packaging, maintaining cleanliness, organizing and assisting management.

Weekend Shift - Fri, Sat, Sun - 7AM - 8PM

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting in the safe loading and unloading trucks.
• Responsible for double checking that the load is safely balanced for transit.
• Responsible to operate dock plates.
• Responsible for loading bulk tank trucks.
• Completing documentation such as Information Sheets to verify quantities and identification of materials received.
• Completing documentation related to the location and / or movement of materials in the warehouse, including but not limited to, Silo maps, Material Movement Sheets and other related paperwork.
• Responsible for ensuring packages are correctly labeled and packaged for transit, repackaging when needed.
• Staging materials to be processed, blended or packaged.
• Performing audits to check load quantities against shipping records.
• Checking integrity of packages of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assisting in inventories to check quantities and locations of warehoused materials.
• Practicing general housekeeping where needed.
• Responsible for gathering and shipping samples for potential clients.
• Pulling and staging of customer orders to be shipped.
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Relabeling of boxes to match correct material and lot number.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Forklift experience a plus but will train to operate.
• Ability to write legibly
