Job summary

Westrock seeks a Warehouse Receiver at the Collins facility to ensure accurate intake, inspection, and documentation of deliveries. You will work closely with QA, Roasting, and logistics teams to streamline receipt processes.

You will operate a forklift, verify quantities against BOL, and help maintain a safe, GMP-compliant environment while uploading records to NetSuite and coordinating transfers from other Westrock locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• 1-2 years' experience monitoring product quality.
• 1-2 years' certified forklift experience.
• Strong mathematical skills using percentages and fractions for recipes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and perform truck inspections before accepting loads.
• Verify product and quantity received against BOL and delivery schedule for accurate invoicing.
• Operate a forklift safely and proficiently.
• Coordinate with QA for green coffee samples testing (moisture and temperature).
• Communicate with Roasting and QA teams for staging deliveries of green coffee.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and GMP requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job description

The Warehouse - Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving all deliveries into the Westrock Collins facility. This position reports to the Inventory Supervisor and Inventory Specialist.

Job Duties:

• Performs truck inspection before accepting the load.
• Verifies product and quantity received matches bill of lading (BOL) and delivery schedule to ensure proper invoicing.
• Operate a forklift in a safe and proficient manner.
• Partners with Quality Assurance team on the collection of green coffee samples for testing which includes moisture and temperature.
• Communicates with Roasting and Grinding/QA team with staging of green coffee deliveries.
• When applicable properly receive products against PO's and upload documents to NetSuite, notifying relevant parties/individuals of parcels.
• Accurately receives transfer orders from other Westrock locations.
• Operates a powered lift truck to perform job duties.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
