Job summary

The Warehouse - Receiver at Westrock Collins facility is responsible for accurately receiving all deliveries, inspecting loads, and ensuring invoices match BOLs and schedules. You will operate forklifts, stage green coffee with QA, and upload documents to NetSuite, while maintaining a safe and organized environment.

You will work with QA, Roasting, and Grinding teams, handle transfer orders, and uphold GMP and safety standards as part of daily duties. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1-2 years' experience monitoring product quality.
• 1-2 years' certified forklift experience.
• Strong mathematical skills using percentages and fractions while working with recipes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Performs truck inspection before accepting the load.
• Verifies product and quantity received matches bill of lading (BOL) and delivery schedule to ensure proper invoicing.
• Operate a forklift in a safe and proficient manner.
• Partners with QA team on the collection of green coffee samples for testing.
• Communicates with Roasting and Grinding/QA team with staging of green coffee deliveries.
• Receive products against POs and upload documents to NetSuite.
• Accurately receives transfer orders from other Westrock locations.
• Operates a powered lift truck to perform job duties.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform duties safely and monitor areas for safety compliance.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

The Warehouse - Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving all deliveries into the Westrock Collins facility. This position reports to the Inventory Supervisor and Inventory Specialist.

Job Duties:

• Performs truck inspection before accepting the load.
• Verifies product and quantity received matches bill of lading (BOL) and delivery schedule to ensure proper invoicing.
• Operate a forklift in a safe and proficient manner.
• Partners with Quality Assurance team on the collection of green coffee samples for testing which includes moisture and temperature.
• Communicates with Roasting and Grinding/QA team with staging of green coffee deliveries.
• When applicable properly receive products against PO's and upload documents to NetSuite, notifying relevant parties/individuals of parcels.
• Accurately receives transfer orders from other Westrock locations.
• Operates a powered lift truck to perform job duties.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
