The role emphasizes forklift operation, cycle counting, and collaboration with the Logistics Manager to optimize shipping processes. A HS diploma or GED, 3 years in a fast-paced logistics setting, and GAF experience are required.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced logistics/manufacturing environment.
• 6 months of GAF experience in Logistics and Shipping (Warehouse I).
• Experience supporting logistics, customer care and business goals.
• Intermediate communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong planning, prioritization, organizational and reporting skills.
• Independent problem-solving and safety commitment.
• Ability to work unsupervised with high quality output.

Responsibilities

• Practices incident and accident prevention; demonstrates safe behavior.
• Maintains fork-truck certification through in-house training.
• Drives forklift safely; mindful of pedestrian traffic.
• Prepares products for shipping; hand-picks and assembles pallets.
• Ensures correct product delivery by reviewing packing slips and bills of lading.
• Participates in cycle counts and inventory deadlines.
• Lears hazardous materials safety and earns related certification.
• Maintains housekeeping and participates in continuous improvement.
