Job summary

GAF is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to support all forklift operations, loading/unloading trucks safely, and accurate order picking in a fast-paced plant environment. The role emphasizes safety, quality, service, and cost efficiency under the supervision of the Logistics Manager.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to maintain certification while working Monday–Friday 10am–6pm with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year forklift experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks safely using fork truck procedures.
• Pick orders and verify accuracy before loading to carriers.
• Maintain safety, quality, service and cost priorities in daily tasks.
• Operate forklifts and maintain fork truck certification.
• Follow FIFO principles for all warehouse items.
• Prepare products for shipping and assemble pallets for loading.
