Job summary

VSE Aviation is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Augusta, KS to fulfill and package customer orders, receive incoming material, and prepare orders for domestic shipping. The role requires teamwork and accuracy in a fast-paced aerospace distribution environment.

Responsibilities include order picking and packaging, receiving and storing material, ensuring documentation is complete for domestic and international shipments, and maintaining clean, organized workstations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• AOG duty, on call service rotation.
• Has a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be detail oriented, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Able to work in a cross functional team environment.

SUMMARY: As part of a leading Global Aerospace Distributor, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for fulfilling and packaging customer orders, receiving incoming material, and preparing customer orders for domestic shipping. The Warehouse Associate will be required to work in a team environment to achieve the expected results.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED). No work experience needed.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• AOG duty, on call service rotation
• Has a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including word, excel, and outlook

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate degree or technical certification.
• 1+ years of professional work experience.
• Intermediate computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of Component Control Quantum.
• Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack
