Job summary

Mediacom Communications is seeking a Warehouse Associate I in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will manage inventory, test and track CPE, and transport materials between locations. The role involves cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and shipping/receiving duties with occasional heavy lifting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years in a warehouse. OSHA knowledge and forklift operation skills are important; DOT physical may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA and related duties.
• Ability to operate forklifts and industrial vehicles.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory securely and orderly with controls.
• Test and record CPE status moves in the tracking system.
• Transport inventory to other warehouse or office locations.
• Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies between records and physical inventory.
• Distribute supplies and equipment on authorized requests.
• Handle shipping/receiving and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Review records for accuracy against procedures.
• Prepare equipment for shipment to various locations.
