Job summary

Mediacom Communications is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to manage receiving, inventorying, issuing, and shipping of CPE and other equipment. The role involves maintaining inventory, testing and recording CPE movements, and transporting items between warehouse locations.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years in a warehouse, OSHA awareness, and the ability to operate forklifts and basic office software. DOT physical may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years’ warehouse experience preferred.
• OSHA knowledge and implications for duties.
• Ability to show sound judgment and initiative with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication with other personnel.
• Ability to develop and implement record-keeping processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory securely and orderly following company guidelines.
• Test input and record CPE moves in the tracking system.
• Transport inventory/materials between locations as directed.
• Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory.
• Investigate discrepancies and propose resolution actions.
• Distribute supplies and equipment upon request and return to proper location.
• Perform shipping/receiving, lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Prepare equipment for shipment to various locations.
• Lift and carry up to 70 lbs as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
