Job Details

Location: Reading, PA

Hours: 10:30pm - 7:00am, Sunday evening through Friday morning

Responsibilities

1. Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine item to be moved, gathered or distributed.
2. Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
3. Sort and place materials or items in warehouse according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
4. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, convey orders to packing station or shipping department.
5. Maintain inventory records by recording number of materials or items received or distributed.
6. Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
7. Use computer to enter records.
8. Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
9. Drive vehicles to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
10. Perform all work procedures according to established Quality Management & Environmental Management Systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent.
• Tow Motor certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and present information effectively.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and prioritize activities.
• Experience with business applications such as Outlook, ERP/inventory systems, and shipping/tracking software.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
