Inventory Control - Warehouse Associate I

Summary

Responsible for receiving and processing incoming products, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing stock within the assigned department.

Duties

• Accurately pick parts.
• Weigh products using the proper scales.
• Check part numbers and quantities with a high degree of accuracy.
• Accurately pack orders into shipping cartons, verifying all components are included and correct for the customer.
• Read customer order notes and fulfill any special requirements.
• Unload freight and check in products.
• Stock parts in the proper locations.
• Maintain stock and shipping supplies.
• Assist in counting physical inventory and perform inventory audits as needed.
• Notify Department Lead or Supervisor of stock issues.
• Report defective materials, shortages, or questionable conditions.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• RF handheld experience preferred.

Physical Demands

Regularly stand and walk on level surfaces. Frequently talk and hear; use hands to handle or feel; reach above shoulder height and below waist. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. 70% of the day and up to 65 lbs. 30% of the day.

Working Conditions

Non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
