Job summary

Impact Property Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to support daily loadout of contract installers and assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control at our California branch. The role requires basic warehouse experience, a valid driver’s license, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include processing orders, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring accurate inventory while contributing to a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• 1 year of warehouse work experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• RFMS systems experience preferred.
• Flooring industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving, trucking coordination, and freight pick-up/delivery.
• Read orders and determine items to move, gather, and ship.
• Sort and place materials on racks or shelves by product code or type.
• Fill sales orders and work orders and distribute items accordingly.
• Record quantities received or distributed in the computer system.
• Weigh and count items to ensure accuracy against standards.
• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Gather and position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.

Impact Property Solutions is searching for a Warehouse Associate I for our branch operations. This position is responsible supporting and assisting the daily loadout of contract installers. The Warehouse Associate I will support the shipping and receiving process as well as maintain the warehouse cleanliness and inventory structure.

Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving, loading & unloading trucks, and scheduling freight carriers to pick up and deliver freight
• Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Filling sales orders, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated assembly area.
• Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
• Weighing and counting items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness/cleanliness at all times.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Gathers and positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

Warehouse Associate I Competencies

Physical Requirements

• Warehouse facility is not climate controlled and may experience extreme temperatures.
• Requires up to 8 hours of standing/walking (with breaks).
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
• Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low
