Job Description

The Warehouse Associate helps manage inventory and receives, loads, and unloads materials. He or she must appropriately handle all materials following company policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace and may need to drive a company vehicle occasionally.

The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in a warehouse environment. Previous experience with floor coverings and basic computer skills are highly desirable. In addition, he or she must have the strength and stamina to perform the duties of this position (standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, etc.) and must have a forklift license (or be willing to obtain a license) and experience driving a forklift. Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
