Job summary

Impact Property Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to support daily loadout for installers, assist shipping/receiving, and maintain warehouse organization. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and willingness to learn product codes and inventory processes.

Experience in a fast-paced warehouse is preferred; forklift certification and RFMS systems knowledge are pluses.

Qualifications

• 1-year experience in warehouse environment preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Flooring industry knowledge a plus.
• RFMS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, and scheduling freight carriers.
• Read orders and determine items to be moved or shipped.
• Sort and place materials on racks or shelves by product code or type.
• Fill orders and distribute items to shipping or assembly areas.
• Record quantities received or distributed in the computer system.
• Weigh and count items to ensure conformance to standards.
• Maintain organized and clean warehouse area.
• Use resources efficiently to complete tasks.

Impact Property Solutions is searching for a Warehouse Associate I for our branch operations. This position is responsible supporting and assisting the daily loadout of contract installers. The Warehouse Associate I will support the shipping and receiving process as well as maintain the warehouse cleanliness and inventory structure.

Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving, loading & unloading trucks, and scheduling freight carriers to pick up and deliver freight
• Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Filling sales orders, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated assembly area.
• Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
• Weighing and counting items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness/cleanliness at all times.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Gathers and positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

Warehouse Associate I Competencies

• Demonstrate and understand compliance of the company’s safety processes.
• Work in a fast pace environment with accuracy.

• Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.

Warehouse Associate I Education and Work Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s license required
• 1-year experience in warehouse work environment preferred.
• Forklift Certified preferred.
• Flooring Industry knowledge is a plus
• RFMS Systems Experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Warehouse facility is not climate controlled and may experience extreme temperatures.
• Requires up to 8 hours of standing/walking (with breaks).
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
• Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low
