Caterpillar Griffin Warehouse in Griffin, GA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to operate sit-down forklifts, read orders, perform material handling, and help fulfill customer parts.

Responsibilities include loading, unloading, sorting, and packing parts, ensuring accurate tagging, and keeping the work area clean and organized. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability, with overtime opportunities and growth within Caterpillar's Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD).

Qualifications

• Safety procedures and PPE usage required.
• Reliability and on-time attendance to meet productivity goals.

• Experience in a logistics/warehouse setting, preferably with Caterpillar/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and overhead hoists.
• Perform material handling: unloading, sorting, putting away, picking, packing and shipping parts.
• Read work orders to determine materials to move and prepare for transport.
• Load materials into vehicles and secure with straps and padding.
• Record material movement on daily production sheets.
• Attach labels and identify materials as required.
• Support housekeeping and maintain accident-free workplace.
• Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management.
