Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate at the Atlanta Distribution Center. Responsibilities include material handling, receiving, counting, order processing, and potential operation of various equipment.

Must have at least 1 year of warehouse experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and English proficiency. Various shifts with premiums and comprehensive benefits offered. Base wage starts at $20.60/hour with additional shift premiums and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Safety mindset and PPE usage as required.
• Reliable, on-time attendance record.
• At least 1 year of current warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Read, write and conduct business in English.
• Willingness to operate or learn forklifts/cranes as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform material handling and warehousing processes.
• Operate handheld scanner for receiving and order processing.
• Train on cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, and cranes.
• Report defects and needs for repairs.
• Use tools to build shipping containers and apply paint/rust preventative.
• Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain reliable attendance to meet customer needs.
