Training is provided for equipment operation and safety procedures. The position offers a starting wage of $16.45 per hour, with standard hours of 40 per week and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform material handling, warehousing, receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing and shipping of parts and supplies.
• Operate handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
• Keep work areas clean and perform housekeeping as required.
• Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Report defects and needs for repairs.
• Use pneumatic tools and/or power tools to crate products and prep them for shipment.
• Build and construct wooden shipping containers.
• Apply paint and rust preventative as needed.
