Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Spokane, WA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to safely handle receiving, packing and shipping of parts. You will use a handheld scanner and may be trained on forklifts and related equipment.

Starting pay is $20.55 per hour with benefits from day one, plus 401(k) matching and growth opportunities. Candidates must meet background checks and drug screening requirements and be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience and 12 months tenure in previous job.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds and walk 10–12 miles per day.
• Read/write and interpret documents in English; pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts.
• Operate handheld scanner to update receiving, counting, and orders.
• Be trained on order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, and overhead hoists; operate where assigned.
• Report defects and arrange repairs.
• Keep workspace clean and perform housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management.
