Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the Waco Distribution Center. You will safely receive, pick, pack, and ship materials, using scanners to process orders and operate equipment.

The role includes lifting up to 50 lbs, following PPE rules, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. The position offers competitive pay with shift premiums, overtime, and strong benefits, including health coverage from day one and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to read, write, and conduct business in English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in changing temperatures.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and material‑handling activities.
• Use handheld scanners for receiving, counting, and order processing.
• Train and operate equipment such as reach trucks, cherry/order pickers, and forklifts. (Experience preferred)
• Use pneumatic and power tools to build shipping containers and apply paint/rust‑preventative.
• Report equipment defects and maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
