Job summary

W.W. Williams in Rock Island, IL is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate responsible for logging shipments, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate records.

You will perform cycle counts, organize packaging, notify contacts, and ensure proper labeling and staging of goods. The role supports an efficient warehouse operation and requires reliability and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6+ months of related experience.
• Must be forklift certified or able to certify within 30 days.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and UPS WorldShip.
• Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Log all incoming/outgoing shipments, from small parcels to large pallets.
• Load and unload materials on and off trucks.
• Perform cycle counts and verify counts of products.
• Package products for shipping to ensure safe arrival.
• Notify contacts by email about shipments received or dispatched.
• Record outgoing shipments and shipment requests.
