Job summary

W.W. Williams is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate shipment records.

The role emphasizes accurate logging, proper labeling, and timely communication with managers and customers. The ideal candidate will have a GED or high school diploma, 6+ months of related experience, and forklift certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 6+ months of related education, training, or experience.
• Must be forklift certified or able to obtain certification within 30 days of employment.
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse procedures/practices and UPS WorldShip.
• Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Log all incoming and outgoing shipments from small parcels to large pallets.
• Load and unload materials on and off trucks.
• Conduct cycle counts and verify the counts of incoming/outgoing products.
• Package products for shipping to ensure safe arrival by customers.
• Notify appropriate contacts by email regarding shipments that arrive or depart.
• Organize shipment reconciliations for the Parts Manager as requested.
• Record all outgoing shipments and shipment requests in the Receiving Log.
• Label all incoming products accurately and stage them for stocking.
