Qualifications

• Building supply warehouse experience is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to customers entering the warehouse
• Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services
• Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size
• Perform minor building maintenance when necessary
• Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials; allocate and move material to its correct place and ensure an orderly warehouse
• Maintain packing specifications and make suitable skids/pallets
• Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA requirements to maintain a safe working environment
• Use proper lifting techniques
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs
• Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation; occasional forklift operation
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying approximately 100 lbs.
