Job summary

Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join a fast-paced, hands-on team. You will receive, organize, and safely load materials while ensuring accuracy and quality for customers.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, maintaining product knowledge, following OSHA protocols, and participating in inventories. Physical requirements and a commitment to safety are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience and/or training.
• Building supply warehouse experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to customers entering the warehouse.
• Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services.
• Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size.
• Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials.
• Allocate and move material to its correct place and always ensure an orderly warehouse.
• Maintain packing specifications, and make suitable skids/pallets, etc.
• Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories.
• Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
• Use proper lifting techniques.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing.
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
