Job summary

Foundation Building Materials is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, organizing, and safely loading materials in a fast-paced environment. You will help maintain inventory accuracy and assist customers in a busy warehouse setting.

Ideal candidates will have warehouse experience and a high school diploma or GED. The role is full-time with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within FBM.

Qualifications

• Building supply warehouse experience strongly preferred
• High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience and/or training

Responsibilities

• Provide service to customers entering the warehouse
• Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services
• Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size
• Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials
• Allocate and move material to its correct place and always ensure an orderly warehouse
• Maintain packing specifications, and make suitable skids/pallets, etc
• Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs
• Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation
• Occasional operation of forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying approximately 100 lbs.
