Job summary

Foundation Building Materials is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join a fast-paced team responsible for receiving, organizing, and loading materials with accuracy. The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and maintaining a safe, orderly warehouse.

The position offers full-time employment with competitive pay and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and a generous 401(k) plan; candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• Building supply warehouse experience strongly preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to customers entering the warehouse.
• Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services.
• Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size.
• Perform minor building maintenance when necessary.
• Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials.
• Allocate and move material to its correct place and always ensure an orderly warehouse.
• Maintain packing specifications, and make suitable skids/pallets, etc.
• Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
• Use proper lifting techniques.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing.
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
• Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation.
• Occasional operation of forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying approximately 100 lbs. utilizing proper lifting procedures.
• Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned.
