Pay Range

This range is provided by E&H Hardware Group, LLC. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for checking incoming merchandise against invoices, ensuring neatness of the warehouse and check-in areas, pricing merchandise, preparing packages, loading merchandise into vehicles, cleaning, and maintaining equipment.

They must perform tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain customer service quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify shipment contents against documents, identify shortages or damages.
• Communicate with management, employees, and delivery personnel.
• Operate 2-way radio and respond to pages.
• Assist customers with loading purchases, ensuring damage-free service.
• Perform janitorial duties and maintain cleanliness of the sales floor and warehouse.
• Operate equipment safely, including forklifts and floor cleaning machines.
• Move merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds as needed.
• Price or label incoming merchandise, repair damaged tools, and follow security procedures.
• Assist with merchandise display setup and mailing preparations.
• Maintain accurate receiving files and product location knowledge.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Participate in store meetings and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic PC skills.
• Valid forklift license issued by the company.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Frequent exposure to mechanical parts, occasional high places, fumes, outdoor weather, and moderate noise. Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 100 pounds, and multi-tasking during busy periods.
