Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Cartersville, GA with 6+ months in a warehouse and electric pallet jack experience. The role starts Sunday–Thursday at 2PM and pays around $21 per hour, with the chance to work overtime.

You will receive inbound goods, restock lines, and ensure accurate placement and safe handling across the warehouse. Responsibilities include packing, labeling, tracking inventory, and performing end-of-shift tasks like charging equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse experience.
• Must have Electric pallet jack experience.
• Able to work scheduled/overtime as required.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly.
• Able to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Receives all inbound merchandise and locates proper pick location.
• Restocks order pick and flow lines to prepare warehouse for order selection.
• Ensures product is placed in sufficient quantities for routine or special demands.
• Maintains attention to detail in all areas including aisles, racking, floors, and more.
• Transfers merchandise from receiving to appropriate locations and consolidates into picking containers.
• Packs products securely and labels cartons/totes with shipment details.
• Ensures safe and efficient movement of goods within warehouse.
• Maintains inventory integrity per system processes.
• Pulls orders according to delivery route/run list.
• Records materials received or distributed.
• Performs end-of-shift tasks such as charging power equipment.
• Maintains orderly workstation and reports unsafe conditions.

Responsibilities

• Receives all inbound merchandise and locate proper pick location.

• Maintains a high level of attention to detail by ensuring that proper attention is given to all areas including, but not limited to; balers, aisles, racking, floors, door pits, and other areas as assigned.
• Transfers merchandise from the receiving area to it appropriate location. Consolidates merchandise into picking containers as necessary.
• Packs products securely in cartons and totes. Ensures application of shipping ID and mark cartons/totes with truck run and stop number.
• Ensures safe and efficient movement and tracking of inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse.
• Maintains inventory integrity by adhering to system processes.
• Pulls orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list.
• Records number of materials or items received or distributed.
• Performs end of shift tasks such as charging power equipment and verifying completed work.
• Maintains orderly workstation; return supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
• Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines. Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6 + months of experience in a warehouse environment
• Must have Electric pallet jack experience
• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry
