Job description

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our TEAM! As the Warehouse Associate, we need someone who will own a variety of material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pulling/assembling customers’ orders, and inventory checks. This position involves daily use of forklift and/or crane equipment.

Primary Objective

Performs a variety of material-handling duties associated with the warehouse.

Primary Function and Scope:

• Performs warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays, moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Handles receiving duties including unloading inbound material, processing shipments, stocking, processing returns, and reporting damaged shipments.
• Operates crane forklift equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized facility through sweeping, trash removal, restroom, and general office upkeep.
• May assist customers and prepare sales slips.
• Ensures a safe working environment by following safety rules and reporting incidents or hazards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent; Certified Forklift Operator.
• Crane forklift experience and 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred.

Competencies:

• Basic math, organization, customer service skills, fluency in English, attention to detail, and safety awareness.

Employees should be able to stand, use hands, reach, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, climb, balance, talk, and hear. Ability to lift 15-30 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs with team assistance is required. Visual acuity needed includes close, peripheral, and focus adjustment.
