Job summary

Bluegrass-Ingredients-Inc. is seeking a Warehouse worker in Springfield, KY to support receiving, storage, and shipping of cheese, whey and related products. This full-time role requires operating forklifts, maintaining records, and ensuring a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, performing monthly inventory, and adhering to GMPs and food-safety procedures. Overtime may be required and shift hours vary by production needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records for receiving ingredients and supplies, and for shipping production.
• Verify trailer cleanliness and fit to load/unload.
• Operate dock doors and leveler.
• Verify bill of ladings and pickup numbers.
• Learn to and prepare loads per customer orders.
• Maintain and operate a forklift.
• Perform monthly inventories.
• Transfer ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Keep a neat and orderly work area.
• Comply with GMPs, safety rules, and loss control procedures.
• Identify and address food safety hazards and quality threats, with supervision.
