Job summary

Southern States Cooperative, Inc. (SSC) seeks a Warehouse Associate to support store and showroom operations across SSC locations.

You will handle receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, loading merchandise, and maintaining showroom appearance, while prioritizing safety and customer service. Responsibilities include coordinating with leadership, processing deliveries, operating forklifts and other equipment, performing inventory counts, and assisting with deliveries to customers.

Qualifications

• Requires one year of work experience in a warehouse or retail stocking role.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within period).
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with filling orders and loading merchandise.
• Receive and verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
• Perform showroom replenishment and stock merchandise on shelves/display areas.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely per procedures.
• Follow safety, quality control and OSHA policies at all times.
