Job summary

Southern States Cooperative is seeking an associate to support retail operations across SSC service and cooperative locations. Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, fulfilling customer orders, loading, and showroom maintenance.

The role involves forklift operation and maintaining safety and accurate inventory while delivering excellent customer service. Educational requirement is a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in warehouse/inventory handling preferred.
• Ability to operate forklift and other equipment.
• Customer-focused communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with store leadership for daily assignments and inventory/receiving tasks.
• Assist customers with filling orders, loading merchandise, and verifying invoices.
• Receive and unload merchandise with proper equipment; inspect for damage and discrepancies.
• Move and store merchandise safely in warehouse; perform full pallet put-away and stocking.
• Perform showroom replenishment and display merchandising; ensure shelves are neat and accessible.
• Read plan-o-grams, reconfigure shelving and build endcaps as needed.
