Job summary

Southern States Cooperative, Inc. (SSC) seeks a Warehouse Associate to perform retail operations and support sales readiness across SSC locations.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, operating forklifts, assisting customers with orders, and maintaining showroom and safety standards. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and forklift certification (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a warehouse handling inventory and operating industrial equipment is preferred.
• Certification: Forklift Certification or ability to obtain within a given period.
• Licensing requirements may apply by location.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise deliveries and unload using appropriate equipment, verify against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
• Stock shelves, replenish showroom, and build displays according to plan-o-grams.
• Operate forklift and other equipment safely to move merchandise and assist customers with loading.
• Help with inventory counting and maintain facility cleanliness and safety.
