Job summary

Border States is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations at our Maple Grove, MN location. The role involves receiving freight, checking for damages, distributing stock, and fulfilling orders for delivery to customers.

You will coordinate with internal departments and carriers to resolve discrepancies and maintain organized inventory. A focus on safe practices and accurate labeling is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Forklift operation experience and knowledge of electrical products/systems is preferred.
• If the employee will be driving, meet age/license requirements and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight and checks material for damages or shortages.
• Distributes material to the proper stock locations.
• Fills special orders and/or backorders as material is received.
• Coordinates with departments, carriers, and vendors on discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
• Checks and packs material to be delivered.
• Maintains inventory locations and ensures accurate labeling and neat shelves.
• Coordinates deliveries with company trucks or freight carriers when needed.
• Maintains delivery vehicles and keeps daily driver logs.
