Job summary

Border States is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Fargo, ND. You will receive freight, inspect for damages, locate stock, fill orders, and coordinate with carriers to ensure on-time delivery.

Accuracy, safety, and teamwork are essential as you maintain organized inventory and clean work areas. The role requires reliability, basic SAP/Windows know-how, and a willingness to handle physical lifting.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems is also preferred.
• If the employee will be driving, candidate must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• PC working knowledge for Windows, internet, email and SAP software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight and checks for damages or shortages.
• Distributes material to proper stock locations.
• Fills special orders/backorders as material is received.
• Coordinates deliveries with carriers or company trucks as needed.
• Keeps shelves neat, maintains inventory locations, and checks for stockouts.
• Fills customer orders for delivery and reports discrepancies.
