Job summary

GEODIS is hiring a warehouse associate to receive, store, move, and distribute materials in a fast-paced environment in Houston. You will read production schedules and orders to determine items to move and ensure accurate placement and handling of goods.

You will work with a team to assemble customer orders, prepare items for packing or shipping, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 months of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related experience preferred.
• Ability to use basic units of currency, weight, volume and distance.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, move, and distribute materials.
• Read schedules and orders to determine items to move or distribute.
• Convey materials from receiving to storage or other areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks or shelves by size, type, or code.
• Assemble customer orders and prepare for packing or shipping.
