Job summary

GEODIS, a global 3PL, is hiring for warehouse positions in Lakeland, FL. You will receive, store, move, and distribute materials, reading schedules to fulfill orders and preparing shipments. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience.
• Ability to perform operations using units of US currency and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Frequent use of hands; ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to non-climate-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials.
• Read production schedules, orders, and shipping documents to determine items to move or distribute.
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks or shelves according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or convey to packing/shipping.
