Job summary

GEODIS is hiring a Warehouse Associate/Material Handler. The role involves receiving, moving, and distributing materials, following schedules, and preparing orders for packing and shipping.

You will operate in a fast-paced, safety-conscious warehouse environment and may work various shifts depending on customer needs. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and some related experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and read simple schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• 1–3 months of related warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and understand simple schedules/orders.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, moves, and distributes materials.
• Reads production schedules, orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved.
• Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places on pallets or conveys orders to packing or shipping.
