Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures seeks a Warehouse Associate to safely and efficiently perform duties in our warehouse operations, supporting internal and external customers. Responsibilities include picking, loading, unloading, pallet building, and ensuring accuracy of shipments and inventory.

You will operate forklift and other material-handling equipment, follow GMP guidelines, and participate in safety programs. Ability to read labels and load tickets is essential; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass forklift skills assessment and operate PBV equipment safely.
• At least six months of forklift experience preferred.
• Computer/HMI skills and basic mechanical aptitude.
• Good math, reading, writing, and communications abilities.
• Ability to read product labels and load ticket instructions.
• Must count large quantities and understand procedures.
• Able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with hot/humid or cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Verifies accuracy and quality of products received and shipped.
• Maintains records for each task (BOLs, receivers, pick tickets).
• Counts goods returned to the plant and handles damaged items.
• Safely operates yard switcher and various trucks for loading/unloading.
• Interacts with warehouse systems to verify and record product and build pallets.
• Identifies faults, troubleshoots, and maintains automation systems.
• Operates material handling equipment and packaging machinery as designated.
• Performs safety and pre-trip checks on equipment and cleans as needed.
• Performs janitorial and housekeeping duties to keep work area clean.
