Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will safely and efficiently perform a variety of duties to support both internal and external customers, including pulling, loading, unloading, sorting, staging, pallet building, wrapping, transporting, counting, and quality control checks.

You will work with various warehouse equipment, follow GMP and food safety guidelines, and contribute to accurate load-outs and inventory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to pass forklift skills assessment and safely operate PBV equipment.
• At least six months of forklift experience preferred.
• Computer/HMI skills, mechanical aptitude, and good math/written communication are required.
• Able to read product labels and load tickets and to count large quantities.
• Work in non climate-controlled warehouse with hot/humid or cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Verifies accuracy and quality of products received from vendors and shipped to customers.
• Performs check-in/check-out duties and maintains records (BOLs, receivers, pick tickets).
• Counts goods returned to the plant and handles damaged/empty items.
• Operates automation systems, voice pick, and warehouse management systems to verify and record products.
• Identifies faults, troubleshoots system issues, and performs basic maintenance on automation systems.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, wrappers, and other equipment to move and stage goods.
• Performs safety checks on machinery and may perform janitorial tasks to keep areas clean.
• May handle yard switching duties and ensure GMP and food safety compliance.
