Job summary

EASTERN CONSTRUCTION SUPPLIES, INC. is seeking a motivated warehouse associate to operate forklifts and order pickers, unload shipments, and prepare customer orders. You will assist customers at pickup and maintain clean, organized storage areas while following safety procedures.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, dependability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift or order-picker experience is preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive work attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old for equipment-operation duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, order pickers, and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Unload incoming shipments and verify products against receiving documents.
• Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Assist customers and contractors during product pickup.
• Maintain organized storage areas, aisles, and workspaces.
• Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect products.
• Follow company safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as business needs require.
