Job summary

Floor & Decor in Sanford, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inventory, order fulfillment, and customer service on the sales floor or in the stockroom. You will use a forklift, verify stock, and assist customers with efficiency and friendly service.

The role requires a reliable, energetic teammate who thrives in a busy warehouse setting and embraces Floor & Decor’s safety standards and procedures. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Knowledge of basic math.
Warehouse experience.
Customer service experience.
Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment preferred but not required.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Completion of forklift certifications through F&D.
Where state law permits, drug test may be required for heavy equipment use.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate and ensure compliance with the company’s safety processes.
Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
Act and work in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.
Restock our show floor with product.
Organize merchandise to company standards to ensure customers may shop with ease.
Load out customers with the correct product.
Help customers find products and answer questions.
Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
Keep work area clean and safe.
