Job summary

Border States is seeking a DC Warehouse Associate - Outbound in Fargo, ND. This role focuses on accurately selecting products from inventory using pick lists or WMS instructions, utilizing RF handhelds and material handling equipment to ensure efficient packing and shipping of outbound orders.

You will assist with stock replenishment, back-orders, and putaway tasks while maintaining clean storage areas. Candidates should be safety‑minded and able to operate equipment responsibly.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred in warehouse or distribution.
• Experience operating forklift or stock picker is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical products/systems preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
• PC skills: Windows, Internet, email, and SAP software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate stock pickers, reach trucks, or forklifts to complete tasks.
• Accurately pick items per pick lists or WMS using RF devices.
• Label and organize items for packing or shipping.
• Fill special and back-orders as materials are received.
• Inspect items against packing lists and verify against WMS for quantity accuracy.
• Notify supervisor of inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams regarding packaging supply needs or order discrepancies.
• Safely operate material handling equipment and maintain a clean work environment.
