Job summary

CROSS ISLAND PROVISIONS INC. is seeking a motivated warehouse worker to prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup, load, pack, and label, and keep a clean, safe work environment.

You will receive and process stock, rotate dates, maintain logs, and cooperatively follow procedures with supervisors and coworkers in a refrigerated warehouse setting. Experience with deli products is a plus; readiness to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Deli experience and familiarity with Boar's Head products is a plus.
• Proven working experience as a warehouse worker.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label).
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, rotate dates, store).
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
• Complete logs into inventory.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse hand trucks and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
