Empire Today is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Northlake, IL to join our Distribution Center team. The role entails daily warehouse tasks conducted safely and efficiently while supporting inventory, orders, and shipments.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, warehouse experience, and forklift experience or certification. Full-time, on-site position with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Experience in warehouse environments is preferred.
• Forklift operation experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred.
• Ability to lift or push 50–75 lbs as required.
• Commitment to customer service and maintaining an excellent attendance record.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily warehouse activities including pre- and post-loadout preparation and activities.
• Receive/unload shipments and verify for accuracy; perform cycle counts.
• Pick, cut, and stage goods as needed; perform daily building cleanup.
• Conduct regular warehouse safety and cleanliness audits.
• Operate forklift and/or other warehouse machinery (certified where required).
• Document machinery safety checks and inventory counts.
• Complete payroll activities and training as required.

Compensation Information

$20/hour

Responsibilities

• Daily warehouse work activities, including (but not limited to):
  • Daily pre- and post-loadout preparation and activities.
  • Receive/unload shipments and verify for accuracy.
  • Cycle counts.
  • Picking/cutting/staging goods as needed.
  • Daily building cleanup and maintenance.
• Regular warehouse audits to ensure safety and cleanliness of all parts of the warehouse.
• Safely operate forklift and/or other warehouse machinery (requires certification).
• Perform and document machinery safety checks.
• Inventory counts.
• Proper completion of payroll activities.
• Successful and timely completion of all required training.
