Job summary

Empire Today is hiring a Warehouse Associate for our Installation Warehouse in Mebane, NC. You will perform daily warehouse tasks, receive and store inventory, conduct cycle counts, and prepare items for loadout.

The role requires safety-mindedness, ability to operate warehouse machinery (certification preferred), and a strong attendance record. Prior warehouse experience and forklift experience are a plus, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
• High level of internal/external customer service.
• Commitment to maintaining an excellent attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Complete all daily warehouse assignments, including (but not limited to): Pre- and post-loadout activities; Receive and put away inventory; Cycle counts; Inventory staging for loadout; Building cleanup and maintenance.
• Safely and efficiently operating warehouse machinery (certification required).
• Maintain the safety and cleanliness of all parts of the warehouse, both inside and out.
• Physical inventory preparation and counting.
• Immediately report any operational/safety concerns to supervisor, manager, and/or safety team members.
• Successful and timely completion of all assigned training.

Compensation Information:

$20/hour
