Job description

Granite-Tops, Stone Countertop Outlet is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team, this position is an integral member of the team and is responsible for assisting with moving material within and in-between SCO facilities.

Hours:

Schedule & Hours of Operation:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the Month: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Full-time and part-time shifts are available within the hours listed above. This position includes participation in a Saturday rotation. Specific scheduling will be discussed during the interview.

*Hours may vary based on business needs.

Duties and responsibilities

· Move stone material using a forklift and overhead crane for customer viewing as well as receiving and shipping (loading and uploading trucks)

· Pulling or racking of stone (loading and unloading) and assisting with keeping accurate inventory

· Quality check material as it is received (checking for obvious cracks/scratches)

· Assist CSI & retail customers with product pick-up

· Assist in keeping an accurate inventory of slab material

· Assist with warehouse housekeeping and maintenance

· Assist with property up-keep and maintenance
(ex. Parking lot clean up, snow removal)

· Represent Granite Tops and Stone Countertop outlet as a safe, professional, on-time, Quality Company.

· Work safely and responsibly, adhering to all safety policies, procedures and guidelines of the employee handbook, including completing warehouse, crane and forklift inspections

· All other duties assigned

Qualifications

· Team Driven – support team members to ensure all tasks are completed

· Communication – the ability to communicate effectively w/co-workers

· Basic math skills

· Working knowledge of computer programs relevant to the position

· Forklift experience

· Valid Driver’s license

· Overhead Crane experience

· Ability to work independently

· HS diploma or equivalent
