Job summary

Heritage Landscape Supply Group is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver in Middleton, ID to stock, organize and manage warehouse inventory while fulfilling customer orders. You will assist customers, prepare orders for pickup or shipping, and support daily shipping and receiving activities.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, a valid driver's license, and are willing to obtain a DOT medical card. Forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and handle freight up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Have valid drivers license and ability to obtain DOT medical card.
• High school diploma or combination of work experience and education.
• Experience in a distribution, fulfillment or warehouse environment.
• Forklift Certification preferred (training and certification can be obtained after hire through company training).
• Able to pass drug screen, driving screening and background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Stock and organize products safely and accurately.
• Assist customers on phone and in person which often involves order entry
• Pull and prepare customer orders for pick-up, UPS shipment or delivery.
• Load and unload the delivery trucks.
• Count and verify incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Rotate stock and report any damaged or missing items.
• Assist with cycle counts and other forms of physical inventory verification as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.
• Backup driver for non-regulated vehicle
• Ability to lift-handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously through workday.
• Ability to stay in motion much of the workday often in areas that are not climate controlled
• Ability to move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards, using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and involves active physical work.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
